Northern i Power

NiSUG - COMMON GB are bringing their expertise to the North of England. This one day conference will have independent experts speaking on hot topics that are i & Power related.

The day will start with registration at 9am including coffee and breakfast muffins, then Mike Ryan (COMMON GB Chairman) will open proceedings with his Welcome & Introduction which will be followed by the main Keynote: -" What the world thinks of IBM Power running i" presented by Darin Stahl who is flying in from Canada to inform delegates of the true benefits of this remarkable system, why you should keep it and if you don't utilise one why you need one! Perhaps bring your Managing Director just for this session alone. 

Steve Bradshaw (Technical Director of Common GB) will be hosting a Workshop: -Upgrade 5.x to 7.1, Simple, Quick, Worth it! The main aim of the workshop is to clear up much of the Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt (F.U.D.) that has arisen in recent times over IBM i Upgrades in general and the move from V5.4 in particular and by doing so you'll maintain a supported platform.

Coffee breaks and a buffet lunch will be provided in the expo area, here you will be able to talk to fellow peers and to solution providers who are also members of NiSUG - COMMON GB.

After the last session of the day, stay and enjoy a free drink at the Mi-Pint social evening where you can talk to the speakers and enjoy a beer with friends, while predicting a winner in our "just for fun Horse Race meeting".

This event is free to attend for NiSUG - Common GB members, just enter the code that has been emailed to you during the registration process, and costs just £50.00 + vat for non members.  Sign up as a member on the day and we'll reimburse the registration fee!
